In 1996, Jofemar became the leading company in its sector when it was awarded the ISO 9001 national standards certification by the company TÜV Rheinland. An organisation that annually assesses the company’s capacity to comply with customer requirements, technical standards and legal regulations and the internal quality system.

An integral quality and environmental management system is now being closely followed in Jofemar in accordance with the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 International Standards. The Quality and Environment Department is entrusted with the task of controlling the material provided by our supplies, the product manufacturing processes and our deliveries in accordance with customer requirements.

This department also updates, files and manages technical standards and regulations, the external and internal calibration plan, as well as monitoring customer satisfaction levels, compiling and following up employee suggestions, filing and managing quality and environmental registers, analysing returns and responding to non-conformities, supplier assessment statistics handling etc.

As far as the area of Environment is concerned, the Quality Department is in charge of waste management, it controls the amount of raw materials used and emission levels , dumping and noise pollution and it monitors the environmental plans and drills etc.
